And what exactly is the nonprofit Boyd's Station organization raising funds for?

Here is the answer....The Boyd’s Station 306.36 VISUAL DOCUMENTARY GRANT is awarded to one student documentary photographer annually providing for a TWELVE WEEK intensive documentary opportunity to photograph the people and culture inside the nearly three hundred square miles surrounding Harrison County, Kentucky. Housing is provided and costs are covered. And weekly feedback from some of the most amazing visual journalists in the world. In addition to the Project 306.36 program, The Boyd’s Station PLACE+SPACE creative residence program provides artist studio space and ZERO-COST housing for artists and writers from one to 12 months in the village of Boyd, Kentucky. Your support is making all this happen.
