Project 306.36 Off and Running!

The 2018 Boyd's Station Reinke Grant for Visual Storytelling photographers have arrived in Harrison County, Kentucky and are already hitting the ground running.

Ohio University's Michael Swensen and University of Kentucky's Arden Barnes will be spending the next three months documenting Harrison County while getting some amazing feedback from some the most talented photojournalists in the business through the Boyd's Station Project 306.36 program.

Their photos from this summer and many other Reinke Grant recipients in the future will be adding to Boyd's Station Project 306.36 growing archive of photographs telling the story of Harrison County, Kentucky.

Welcome Michael and Arden to Harrison County and you can always reach out to them here!

Like our Boyd's Station Facebook page and share it with your friends to keep up to date their work this summer and also check out www.boydsstation.org for more updates and to see their work over the coming months!

So many people to thank in Harrison County starting with Harrison County Judge Executive Alex Barnett, Dr. Neil Rush, John Lair, Sheriff Shain Stephens and Myrtle Gruber.

Many thanks to the dozens of photographers who donated work for the Boyd's Station print auction fundraiser to the amazing support from Paddle8AdoramaPix, the Clyde N. Day Foundation and Michael Keating and the Troy Foundation along with very gracious support from Darlene Tranter Anderson, Sonny Bell and Nancy Baird.

And a HUGE shout out and thanks to Nikon and Mark Suban for sponsoring and providing Arden and Michael with all the amazing Nikon gear allowing for a successful summer in Kentucky and another beyond words thanks to PhotoShelter sponsoring and providing Boyd's Station a LIbris Archive to host this incredible work. With this tremendous and gracious support from two of the photojournalism communities biggest supporters, Boyd's Station and the Project 306.36 program has been able to get off to an amazing inaugural start in 2018.

Project 306.36 and the Reinke Grant for Visual Storytelling would not be possible without the generous support from Nikon, the official sponsor and supplier of professional photographic equipment to Boyd’s Station and Project 306.36 and Photoshelter, the official provider of the Boyd's Station Project 306.36 archive powered by Libris
