We are thrilled to invite you to participate in EQUUS—a juried visual art exhibition celebrating the power, beauty, and spirit of the horse!

Hosted at the Boyd’s Station Gallery in Cynthiana, Kentucky, this exhibition of work produced by Kentucky artists is proudly sponsored by Boyd's Station and the Boyd’s Station Artist Guild. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your work alongside fellow Kentucky artists in a vibrant and inspiring space.

THE FINE PRINT

THE FOLLOWING IS THE CRITERIA & IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE SHOW. COMPLETE THE FORM VIA THE LINK above BY THE DEADLINE of Thursday, May 1, 2025 IF YOU WISH TO BE CONSIDERED IN THIS JURIED SHOW.

• Any Kentucky artist, age 18 or older, may submit up to two entries in this form for $25.00*

• *Boyd's Station Artist Guild Members are exempt from the admission fee

• Entries can be in any 2-D or freestanding 3-D media, with a size limit of 6 feet in any one dimension, and an 80 lb. weight limit for 2-D work. (Work must fit through a standard door!)

• The exhibit will begin on Saturday, June 7 (opening 6-9 pm) and run through Sunday, July 6. The gallery will be open each Friday (4-6 pm), Saturday (12-6 pm) & Sunday (12-4 pm) during the exhibit.

• The entry deadline is Thursday, May 1, 2025, by 11:59 pm EST to submit for consideration

• Saturday, May 10: notification of acceptance will be sent via email

• All accepted works must be hand delivered to Boyd's Station Gallery, 203 E. Pike Street, Cynthiana, KY 

• On either Monday, June 2, noon-5:00 pm, or Tuesday, June 3, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. The artist (or their representative) must sign a delivery and disclaimer form upon drop off. Other delivery arrangements might be made by contacting Nicolette, a Guild exhibit committee member, at (859)588-8834, before Friday, May 23.

• One entry will be honored as Best of Show, with the artist receiving $250.

• Work must be picked up, in person, on either Monday, July 7, noon-5:00 pm or Tuesday, July 8, 5:00-8:00 pm
