What is Six Bomb Boards?

Six Bomb Boards is a communal art collective that was founded in Lexington, KY. in 2009 by illustrator/designer Justin “3000” Stewart.

6BB performs “liveart” in which artwork is made in live, in-person on six, spaced apart boards used like easels so people can watch the creation process from blank paper to finished painting.

Everyone works at their own pace and is encouraged to take as much time as they need. So when one artist is done, another may take their place at the open board.

Artists, illustrators, and designers generally work alone, but 6BB is here to help artists and creatives interact, collaborate, and commune with each other.

I want to buy a drawing. Is the artwork for sale?

Most all artwork made during a liveart show is for sale. Please feel free to ask any of the artists for assistance with purchasing a piece. We accept cash, credit cards, Paypal, Venmo, and other cash apps. We do not accept any forms of crypto currency.

*Each piece is individually priced by the artist, who receives 100% of the sale.
