Thanksgiving Food Distribute in Hawaii

Nearly 1,250 bento boxes were distributed on Thanksgiving Day by the Salvation Army to several low-income housing projects and senior facilities. Another team organized by Revolution Hawaii distributed meals to homeless individuals in downtown Honolulu.
The Salvation Army’s Hawaiian and Pacific Islands division has changed its annual Thanksgiving week meal service this year to abide by COVID-19 concerns.
This charitable organization normally hosts a sit-down meal for 2,000 on O‘ahu and other traditional Thanksgiving meals on neighboring islands. This year, alongside food distribution, they distributed meals through drive-thru and grab-and-go options statewide.
